Social Condition:
- Rania is living with her house wife mother
  and father in an impoverished part of Diyala.
- Family is of low socio economic status  
  and financially struggling to make ends
  meet.

Medical Condition:
- Rania suffers from a hematological  
  (blood) disorder known as Thalassemia
  Major and requires ongoing medical
  treatment. ICARE is sponsoring Rania to undergo
  an essential bone marrow transplant and help her
  family pay for her on going medical expenses and  
  treatment. Rania's surgery is not available in Iraq and
  we are working to send Rania outside of Iraq to get the
  life changing treatment she needs.
