YOU DONT HAVE TO BE A DOCTOR TO SAVE LIVES

ICARE founders Dr. Amir and Dr. Hanan with
Prime Minister John Key

MEETING WITH PRIME MINISTER

ICARE founders were invited to have lunch with the Right Honourable Prime Minister of New Zealand Mr. John Key and Members of Parliament David Bennett in Hamilton.

Dr. Assil Russell was seated right next to the PM and talked about the situation in Iraq, particularly the crumbling healthcare system. Rt. Honourable PM John Key was supportive of ICARE charity, he was impressed that as Kiwi's we are taking the initiative to help those less fortunate than ourselves and representing the caring nature of New Zealanders on an international scale. Mr. Key now has his own copy of ICARE's Banquets Babel & Beyond Cookbook and signed one for the charity. I CARE Volunteer project is now up and running allowing health professionals to travel to Iraq to volunteer their skills. ICARE is the first and only registered Medical Charity for Iraqi children in New Zealand.
