YOU DONT HAVE TO BE A DOCTOR TO SAVE LIVES
IRAQ YOUTH DAY
ICARE team members were part of the Iraq Youth Day event which was held in “Buhayrat Al jadrya” in Baghdad. The occasion was sponsored and organized by Baghdad governors and the Youth Parliament Association. The ICARE team were honored with the prestigious “Baghdad youth shield“ presented by Baghdad Governor as the best organizing team of volunteers and participants. During the event ICARE volunteers were busy raising awareness of health issues by handing out pamphlets about medicine, dentistry general and oral health and advising people on how to make healthy food choices. The team also gave gifts to children including packs of toothbrushes, toothpastes, hand sanitizers and educational brochures. People who attended the event were very impressed and pleased with the work done by the ICARE team. We received praise and caught the attention of local media and high profile people including Baghdad's governor.
