YOU DONT HAVE TO BE A DOCTOR TO SAVE LIVES
FYI FORUM: HAMILTON CITY YOUTH COUNCIL
ICARE’s founder Dr. Assil Russell was invited by Hamilton City Youth council to be keynote speaker at the annual FYI (For Youth Involvement) Forum held at Waikato's Wintec Campus. Dr. Russell introduced the audience to ICARE and the work we do for the children of Iraq. She also took part in a debate with Hamilton Mayor Julie Hardaker and councillors Gordon Chesterman and Margaret Forsyth. The other keynote speaker for the day was Young New Zealander of the year Sam Johnston. A special thanks to Hamilton City Youth Council for the invitation and allowing us to share our story with the youth of Hamilton.
DARE 2 CARE
"The power of "WE" is the understanding that a piece of string will
never be as strong as a piece of rope made up of many strings.
By working together we can create change. If you substitute I for WE,
ICARE becomes WE Care and Illness becomes WEllness".
