HEALTHY ENVIRONMENTS DAY
"As this planet represents the future and life of our children, We shall preserve it". ICARE's team of volunteers participated in the Arab Environment Day Carnival that was held in Al-Zawraa' National Park in Baghdad. The event included many activities for children and families organised by groups of enthusiastic young men and women. Activities such as singing, drawing, face painting and educational talks informing people about the importance of the environment and the downsides of pollution and smoking. ICARE Baghdad team took on the responsibility of educating people about certain diseases and increasing their knowledge about health related issues. ICARE volunteers also participated by selling cupcakes and sandwiches to raise donations towards our medical projects and distributing health packs to needy children.
