MSGA ICARE DUNEDIN CHARITY EVENT

ICARE's team of volunteers in Dunedin in association with MSGA (Medical Students for Global Awareness- Otago) hosted our second Dunedin based Charity event this year. The night was a huge success with a great turn out raising over $750 in funds for our Sponsor a Smile Project. The venue was packed full and the audience were moved to tears with the powerful Documentary Screening of "Deadly Legacy" followed by a presentation of ICARE's work in Iraq. Those who attended also enjoyed ICARE's delicious bake sale, traditional arabic coffee with dates and Henna tattooing.A special thanks to the amazing team of organisers and volunteers including Noor Omer Al-Rawi Yousr Al-Sheibani Noor Ridha and to MSGA for their support in making this happen!

DARE â€‹2 CARE

"The power of "WE" is the understanding that a piece of string will
never be as strong as a piece of rope made up of many strings.

By working together we can create change. If you substitute I for WE,
ICARE becomes WE Care and Illness becomes WEllness".
