Recipes For Prevention: Babylon
ICARE's Team in Babylon have successfully launched our Recipe's for Prevention programme for impoverished and orphaned children. This involved educating and raising awareness of general & oral health as well as providing orphaned children and families with ICARE gift parcels containing:
Health care products (Soaps, Sanitisers, Tooth brushes, tooth pastes), Warm new clothes and new shoes for winter, complete set of school supplies including backpacks, stationary, books. Families also received vouchers for dental treatment. The project has so far helped countless families in Babylon province alone and has been runing in other provinces in Iraq including Baghdad and Najaf. Showing our beloved poor children and orphans that we care.
