CLIMB FOR CHARITY: SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE

ICARE's Australia team have successfully climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge as part of ICARE's Climb for Charity event to raise awareness and funds for our Sponsor a Smile project. The Climb took approximately 3 hours to complete. The Bridge stands 141 meters above sea level overlooking the iconi Sydney Opera House and city below. It was bulit in 1932. The ICARE team climbed all 1332 steps! Together they raised $2085 more than doubling the target of $1000. This funding will help provide much needed medical aid for impoverished children in Iraq. Not only did the ICARE team of volunteers raise funds but also succeeded in educating Australians and others doing the climb about the plight of Iraqi childrenand the work of ICARE in Iraq. A special thanks to everyone who supported, shared and donated. Thank you to our Founder Dr. Assil Russell and Director in Australia Ahmad Samir and ICARE ambassadors Zeena Al Badran, Nora Samir and Muhammad Maarj for making this event possible. Thank you all for caring.

DARE â€‹2 CARE

"The power of "WE" is the understanding that a piece of string will
never be as strong as a piece of rope made up of many strings.

By working together we can create change. If you substitute I for WE,
ICARE becomes WE Care and Illness becomes WEllness".
