RECOGNYZ PRESENTATION
ICARE’s Founder Dr. Assil Russell had the honour of being invited to speak at the Recognyz Youth Awards about ICARE's achievements since its establishment in 2010. As previous Supreme Award winner she highlighted the impact ICARE has had on the lived of Iraqi children and how we are changing the world by empowering people, regardless of their backgrounds, to make change from wherever they may be in the world. Speaking infront of a room full of City Councillors, her worship the Mayor and members of parliament she captivated the audience and bought the room to a stand still. Recognyz Youth Awards are hosted annually by the Hamilton City Youth Council and are in place to support and encourage young people to take innovative ideas to a new level and become contributing members of society.
