Khder is a special needs person we met at our event for Special needs persons at which we delivered over 50 wheelchairs to disadvantaged people. Khder missed out because he needed a specific type of electric wheelchair for his condition as his hands are not strong enough to push a standard chair. For years he had been living in a metal basket with wheels that he could not move himself. Thanks to your generous donations, ICARE's team of volunteers in Baghdad working along side the international branch in New Zealand were able to source the chair that Khder needed. We also set him up with several gifts to make his life easier so that he can be a contributing member of society. This included a laptop computer to enable him to work and also communicate with us (and you) better.  Watch the video to see for yourself Khder's happiness
