When ICARE first met Kahlaa she was a withdrawn unhappy little girl who refused to talk to adults fearing she would get abused. She was struggling at school and had trouble learning and getting along with other children her age. Thanks to your donations, ICARE was able to provide her with the psychiatric care she needed and enrolled her in a new school for orphans guaranteeing her education in an environment where caring teachers are able to support her development.
